Eileen Merriman writes flash fiction, short stories, and novels. Her work has previously been published or is forthcoming in The Sunday Star Times, Takahē, Headland, Flash Frontier, and the Bath Short Story Anthology 2015. She was awarded second runner-up in the 2014 Sunday Star Times Short Story Competition and was commended in the 2015 Bath Short Story Competition. She is the recent winner of the 2015 Flash Frontier Winter Writing Award and placed second in the Bath Flash Fiction Award 2015. In 2015 she was awarded a mentorship for work on her YA novel, 'Pieces of You'.
